KWS Motorsports is a full service race shop that has been building racing motorcycles since 1994 and Millennium Technologies is the world renowned leader in powersports engine cylinder repair and plating. The KWS Motorsports and Millennium Technologies collaboration has run a professional race team since 1999 and in the quest to reduce the weight of their Aprilia RSV1000R race bikes, KWS started researching lightweight battery technology and decided to develop their own. In an effort to make this technology available to consumers, Ballistic Performance Components was formed with long term partners Millennium Technologies. The Ballistic Performance Components EVO2 Lithium Motorcycle Battery is the sum of years of building, testing and developing batteries for the race bikes. The EVO2 Lithium Motorcycle Battery uses custom made proprietary cells, cases and connectors that are made specifically for the purpose of starting motorcycles.
