The Akrapovic twin hexagonal slip-on exhaust system for the 2008-2012 Ducati Monster 696 is an invincible combination of performance and price. In addition to performance, the twin hexagonal shaped titanium or carbon fiber mufflers add a clean racing look. Additionally, the Ducati will put out a much more powerful racing sound. You will also save 1.94 kg compared to the stock Ducati exhaust system. The Akrapovic Twin Hexagonal Slip-On Exhaust System for the 2008-2012 Ducati Monster 696 is composed of cylindrical stainless steel link pipes and a pair of hexagonal mufflers. The link pipes are attached to the stock header assembly with sleeve joints and metal clamps. The outer sleeves of the hexagonal mufflers are available in titanium or carbon fiber. The inlet cap and perforated inner sleeve are made of titanium while the outlet cap is made of carbon fiber. The system is attached to the frame using Akrapovic carbon fiber clamps and a stainless steel bracket. 2008-2012 Ducati Monster 696 Twin Hex Slip-On Exhaust System Dyno Chart Power & Torque: The 2008-2012 Ducati Monster 696 Akrapovic slip-on exhaust system greatly increases the potential of the big twin cylinder engine. Both power and torque are increased over the entire rpm range with the greatest increase shown in the middle and top of the range. Akrapovic measured 71.46 HP at 9030 rpm, while the maximum increased power of 5.38 HP was measured at 4400 rpm. That results in a much smoother ride as the biggest gain of power starts from 3000 rpm to 5000 rpm.
