2008-2009 Honda CBR1000RR Hexagonal Slip-On Exhaust System by Akrapovic
For riders who do not want to make any major modifications to the
2008-2009 Honda CBR1000RR, the Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system is an excellent choice, giving improved results
and simple installation. The Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system is an outstanding

fits well in the original mounting position and goes fantastically with the

The Akrapovic SLIP-ON exhaust system for the
2008-2009 Honda CBR100RR is made of two basic components: a muffler and
stainless steel link pipe. The independent link pipe is attached to the
stock header assembly with a sleeve joint secured with a metal clamp. The
link pipe and muffler are connected with a sleeve joint which is secured
with a silicon shielded springs. The muffler outer sleeve is available in
either titanium or carbon fiber. The muffler is attached to the frame using
an Akrapovic carbon fiber clamp.

Power & Torque:
The slip-on exhaust system for the 2008-2009 Honda CBR1000RR offers a
performance increase throughout the entire rpm range. At 12450 rpm 168.9 HP
was measured. The situation for the torque curve is similar with the best
results coming in the middle of the range around 4000 rpm where the dropout
in the stock curve is filled.
