Akrapovic 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX6R Hexagonal Slip-On Exhaust System The powerful 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX6R offers a great tuning platform for all levels of tuning. The sporty and lightweight Akrapovic Hexagonal Slip-On Exhaust System offers a great balance between price and performance and represents the first step in the exhaust system tuning process. The muffler outer sleeve is made of titanium or carbon fiber which gives a special hi-tech touch to the Akrapovic slip-on exhaust.   The 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX6R Akrapovic Hexagonal Slip-On Exhaust System has a 1-1 configuration and is composed of two main parts: a cylindrical stainless steel link pipe and a muffler which is available with a carbon fiber or titanium outer sleeve. The muffler interior is made entirely of titanium. The link pipe is attached to the header assembly with a graphite gasket and is secured with a metal clamp and silicone shielded spring. The link pipe and muffler are welded together. An optional Link Pipe may be purchased with the Slip-On exhaust systems to improve air flow, increase power and reduce weight even further. The Link Pipe is composed of stainless steel. 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX6R Hexagonal Slip-On Exhaust System Dyno Chart Power & Torque (without link pipe): The 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX6R Akrapovic Hexagonal Slip-On exhaust system results in a major boost in performance, delivering a massive 116.6 HP at 14100 rpm at the back wheel. The increased power isn’t only available just at the top of the range, the system shows its quality from 4000 rpm up through the entire rpm range. Maximum increased power of 2.9 HP was measured at 14050 rpm over the the stock system. Besides this, the torque is substantially higher at the lower 3000 rpm area and from the middle to high rpm area. 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX6R Slip-On with Link Pipe Exhaust System Dyno Chart Power & Torque (with link pipe): The 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX6R Akrapovic Hexagonal Slip-On exhaust system with optional link pipe results in a major boost in performance, delivering a massive 117.2 HP at 14100 rpm at the back wheel.
