2006-2007 Kawasaki ZX14 Evolution / Racing Hexagonal Single Full Exhaust Systems by Akrapovic
The 2006-2007 Kawasaki ZX14 Akrapovic Evolution and Racing Exhaust Systems with
single hexagonal design muffler goes extremely well with the bold design of the
Kawasaki. And of course in addition to visual enhancement, these systems also
offer a substantial performance boost. In keeping with the character of the
bike, these systems were designed for riders who know how to get the most out of
their machines.
The
Akrapovic Evolution and Racing exhaust systems differ only in their selection of tubing
materials. The Racing uses stainless steel and the Evolution titanium. The
header tubes for both systems are made using the hydroforming process. All the components of
the system are connected with sleeve joints held together using
silicon shielded springs. The single muffler is a hexagonal design which looks
great and reduces weight compared to the stock dual mufflers. The muffler for
the Racing system has a stainless steel welded on link pipe, stainless
steel inlet cap and perforated inner sleeve. The Evolution system has
a titanium link pipe, titanium inlet cap and perforated inner sleeve.
The outlet cap is made of carbon fiber for both systems. The outer sleeve is available in either titanium or carbon fiber. The muffler
is attached
to the frame using an Akrapovic carbon fiber clamp.
