Akrapovic 2008-2012 Triumph Street Triple / R Hex Slip-On Exhaust The Akrapovic Hexagonal Slip-On Exhaust System for the 2008-2012 Triumph Street Triple / R is a first level exhaust system tuning component. It provides a significant performance improvement for the 2008-2012 Triumph Street Triple / R. The system is designed for riders who are looking for a combination of performance, high quality, simple installation and affordability. You will also benefit from a substantial weight savings and your bike will take on a deeper and sportier sound.   The Akrapovic slip-on exhaust system is composed of cylindrical titanium link pipes and a pair of mufflers. The link pipes are attached to the stock header assembly with sleeve joints and metal clamps. The outer sleeves of the mufflers are available in titanium or carbon fiber. The inlet cap and perforated inner sleeve are made of titanium while the outlet cap is made of carbon fiber. The system is attached to the frame using Akrapovic carbon fiber clamps. 2008-2012 Triumph Street Triple / R Hexagonal Slip-On Exhaust Dyno Chart Power & Torque: The Akrapovic slip-on exhaust system for the 2008-2012 Triumph Street Triple / R results in a major boost in performance, delivering a massive 99.5 HP at 12,010 rpm at the back wheel. The increased power isn’t only available just at the top of the range, the exhaust system shows its quality from 3500 rpm up through the entire rpm range. Maximum increased power of 3.6 HP was measured at 11,850 rpm over the the stock system. Besides this, the torque is substantially higher at the lower 3000 rpm area and from the middle to high rpm area.
