The combination of stainless steel racing headers and a slip-on muffler is significantly lighter compared to the stock exhaust system. The Akrapovic Racing exhaust system was developed to complement the racing character of the 2010-2012 Yamaha FZ8 / Fazer 8 and is available with a titanium or carbon fiber muffler outer sleeve. 2010-2012 Yamaha FZ8 Hexagonal Racing Full Exhaust System Dyno Chart Power & Torque: The Akrapovic racing exhaust system radically changes the performance of the 2010-2012 Yamaha FZ8. The increase begins at the low end and keeps on growing right to the top of the rpm range where maximum increased power of 7.5 HP is recorded at 5450 rpm. The torque curve also gets a major boost indicating the exhaust system’s exceptional synergetic effects on the Yamaha engine.
