Spidi Defender Armor is a combination back and chest protector born from the need to protect these areas in case of a crash. The Defender Armor mixes Back Warrior level 2 CE armor with CE Chest armor for a unique combination designed especially for racing and sport riding. The weight is only around 700 grams and was designed with comfort as the primary goal.The Warrior technology allowed Spidi to create thin and lightweight shock absorbing carved surfaces from composite cell materials to allow for great flexibility. The tangible result is a cat. 2 CE certification with an average shock absorbing factor of 9 KN. During certification tests for this kind of protectors, the required value of residual energy must not exceed 18 KN. The residual energy of Warrior technology based armor is 7.8 KN.
