By reducing the weight (-6 lbs.) and improving the horsepower (+4.6 hp) and torque, the Two Brothers Racing dual M-2 V.A.L.E. slip-on exhaust system for the 2007-2010 Ducati 1098 / 1198 is exactly what you need for unlocking all that your bike has to offer. 2007-2008 Ducati 1098 Dual Slip-On Exhaust System Dyno Chart Two Brothers Racing has been using carbon fiber in motorcycle mufflers since 1992. They are currently the only U.S. Company to exclusively use Filament Wound Carbon Fiber (FWCF) on every carbon fiber muffler they sell. They draw on only the best high temperature resins and control a proprietary lining system adopted from spacecraft, for additional heat resistance. Two Brothers Racing FWCF is continuously wound over a precision machined mandrel for a 100% seamless bond. The FWCF tube is then cured in a high temperature autoclave oven for superior strength and heat resistance. These crucial elements meld to form a precision lightweight muffler that will perform as well as it looks. V.A.L.E. Attachment System & P1 PowerTip Sound Suppressor   V.A.L.E. = Variable Axis Locking Exhaust The V.A.L.E.™ system is Two Brothers Racing's revolutionary and patented method of attaching the muffler canisters to the exhaust tube without the use of springs or welding. The V.A.L.E. system allows the muffler assembly, exhaust tube and canister to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. Once the canister and exhaust tubes are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the exhaust tube assuring a perfect, leak-free fit.   P1 PowerTip Specifically designed to meet the unique requirements of performance road bikes, The Two Brothers Racing P1 PowerTip™ sound suppressor is a recommended accessory for their exhaust systems with M Series outlets. A straight through sound diffuser, the Two Brothers Racing P1 PowerTip™ quiets the pipe by 3-4 dB with no significant loss of horsepower. Installation is easy. Simply unbolt your existing M series end cap, drop in the P1 and reassemble.
